Meet Bob. He's a slightly pudgy knight with a sword and a shield, and his one job in Tower Run Treasure Steps is to climb a haunted stone tower crawling with cartoon goblins, skeletons, and grumpy horned boars. Play'n GO built this one around a 5×5 scatter-pays grid, so symbols pay from anywhere once enough of them land. Monster symbols need six or more, the royal letters need seven, and every win clears the board so fresh symbols tumble down for another shot.
What makes it tick is the stuff happening above the reels. Each spin, Bob shuffles forward a random number of steps along a path, and he moves whether you win or not. Hit a Monster node and you get an Encounter that drops an Instant Prize worth between 0.2x and 10x before the grid even settles. Guaranteed progress with no grid win required is a nice touch.
Then there's the Win-O-Meter of Destiny, which counts your wins per spin. Three wins triggers a Wild Rift and scatters one to four wilds onto empty spots. Six wins layers a global multiplier on top of more wilds. Nine wins is the big one: the Treasure Room, a hold-and-spin round packed with sticky Coins, locked Mimics, and Keys that pop them open. Landing any of those refills your Lives, and chests can reveal cash up to 5,000x your bet.
Feeling brave? The Go Ultra ante adds 50% to your stake and hands you a permanent x2 multiplier, a guaranteed x5 on the Dimensional Multiplier tier, plus four extra respins in the Treasure Room. That's how the 30,000x top prize actually comes into reach.
It's high volatility, so expect long dry patches between the fireworks. One gripe, though. Play'n GO doesn't publish an RTP figure for this release, and I'd rather know that number before I commit. Still, the goofy horror art and the layered features make it genuinely fun to spin.
