April 2018. That's a useful date to keep in mind, because Tomb of Nefertiti is Nolimit City before the studio became famous for prison slots, slasher reels and the whole xWays toolkit. No xNudge, no booster menu, no shock value. Just a 5×3 grid wrapped in a parchment scroll, with pyramids fading into a dusk horizon and a Lara Croft-styled raider grinning out of the splash art.

The volatility badge in the corner reads MEDIUM, which already tells you this isn't standard NLC house style. 96.19% RTP, single tier, no operator dial. Base game runs 20 fixed paylines. Every win triggers a Win Respin: all paying symbols except Wilds re-spin in place with a x2 multiplier. Land another win and the next respin carries x3. That's the cap in the base game. Two respins, then the chain ends.

The Nefertiti Wild only lands on reels 2 through 5. Reel 1 never gets one, which keeps the leftmost trigger honest. Two random main-game features piggyback on top. Wild Raider drops between 2 and 9 guaranteed Wilds across the middle three reels, which is a deep flood for a single random pop. Curse of Nefertiti syncs those same 9 centre positions and reveals one matching symbol across the lot, anything except the Bonus. Catch either one feeding into a Win Respin and the math suddenly looks interesting.

Three Bonus ankhs open Raider Spins at ten free games. Each extra ankh adds five. The bonus rewrites the rules. Paylines jump to 40, Wild Raider triggers on every single spin so at least one Wild lands on the centre reels every time, and the win multiplier loses its cap entirely. It climbs by +1 for every winning spin and stacks for the whole round. Win Respins ride on top of whatever the running multiplier already is. Bonus symbols during the feature add +1 spin each.

Honestly, the absence of a published max-win number is a little frustrating for a game this old. Translations don't quote a ceiling and NLC's affiliate page stays quiet too. You're trusting the uncapped multiplier in Raider Spins to do the heavy lifting, with a MEDIUM badge promising the base game won't drain you while you wait. For an early-era NLC release without a single x-mechanic, the design holds up well.
