Blueprint Gaming dropped The Goonies Quest for Treasure 3 in May 2026, and yes, it's the third Quest sequel under the Warner Bros. licence. If you've already played Quest 2 here on Respinix, you'll spot the family DNA right away. Same wooden chest frame around the reels, same moonlit pirate cove, same live-action portraits of Mikey, Chunk, Mouth, Data and the rest of the crew. But the math sheet is different, and the trail is the real story.
The grid is 6 reels by 4 rows with 4,096 ways to win, and the RTP sits at 94.00%. That's lower than I'd like, honestly, and worth flagging up front. High volatility is the Goonies house style, which Blueprint has stuck with across every Quest entry, and the max win caps at 10,000x bet with a 1-in-325 chance of hitting it. Stakes run from $0.10 to $1,000, and there's a Power Play side bet at 4x cost that nudges trigger frequency.
What makes the third Quest tick is the Collect Trail, a persistent meter that climbs as Collect symbols land on reels 1 and 6. Two collects unlock Add Collect. Five gets you the Treasure Wheel ladder. Eight triggers Rush Collect respins, eleven lights up Golden One-Eyed Willy, and seventeen drops Walking Collect onto the grid. Hit twenty and you're in Chests of Riches, where each of the three coloured chests grows to four key holes and Skeleton Keys start filling them on the fly.
And those chests matter. Treasure Spins arrive with 3+ Bonus Scatters: ten free spins, retrigger ladder up to a 10x global multiplier at twelve collects, plus whatever Trail features you've unlocked stay armed. The Super, Mega and Ultra Bonus tiers stack chest upgrades from Red (Collect Expand), Blue (50 extra Mystery symbols) and Green (50 extra Cash Prizes) into the round.
Base play has the Hey You Guys modifiers too: Bonus Boost, Cave In, Dynamite Blast, Hidden Treasure and Pinchers of Peril fire at random when Sloth shows up. The cashpot ladder runs Mini 20x, Minor 50x, Major 200x, Mega 1,000x bet. Persistent trails make this one of those slots that rewards a long session rather than a quick spin or two. Fair warning.
