Paylines
5 Paylines (left to right)
Picture a corner-pub fruit machine that got struck by lightning and decided to keep spinning. That's Storming Flame. GameArt took the oldest format in the book, a 5×3 grid running just five paylines, and wrapped it in neon-blue bolts, a chrome logo and glossy fruit that looks like it's carrying a charge. The frame glows gold against dark teal. It's loud. The maths underneath is anything but.
What actually drives this one is volume, not clean lines. Land enough of a single fruit and the whole spin gets a total-win multiplier. Nine of one kind across the first three reels and your win triples. Twelve, spilling into the fourth reel, takes it to x4. Fill all fifteen positions with the same cherry, grape, lemon or plum and the entire payout goes x5. So you're rooting for the board to drown in one colour, which feels backwards at first and gives the base game an odd, hoarding sort of rhythm.
The glowing Star is your Scatter, and stacking enough of them opens the free spins. No wild sits anywhere on these reels, so every win has to earn itself left to right, one direction only. There's a standard card gamble too, double or quadruple if you fancy pushing a win, or just bank it.
Here's my gripe. For all that electric swagger, the ceiling is only 1,001x your bet. RTP lands at 95.60%, volatility sits medium, and even a full-screen fruit flood with x5 attached won't rocket you much past the cap. It's a small game in a very loud coat. Fun to watch, modest to chase.
