Triples The Prize. That label sits in the top-right corner of the screen at all times, and it's the single most important sentence in the whole game. The Pilot acts as the wild, and any winning line it completes pays out at 3x the standard paytable value. That tripling is the base-game default, not a free-spins bonus, which is rarer than it sounds for a 25-line release. The math has been tuned around that triple, so the base hit rate runs cool. You wait. And wait. And then the Pilot lands and the spin finally pays.

Twenty-five fixed paylines run across a 5×3 grid. The Whirlpool acts as scatter rather than the Pilot, and three or more anywhere on the reels open the Free Spins round. Scatter wins themselves can return up to 500x your total bet without needing to trigger the bonus, which is a quiet but useful safety net. Inside Free Spins the Pilot's triple-prize property carries across, so wilds in the bonus round stack on top of the round's own multiplier logic. There's no Buy Feature, no Super Bet, no ante boost. This is a June 2012 release from Habanero's day-one catalog, predating every modern mechanic the studio leans on now.

Two random progressive jackpots float above the grid. The Grand sits around the EUR 9,000 mark in the demo, and the Minor ticks under EUR 100, neither requiring a special trigger. Both drop on any paid spin from a network pool shared across other inaugural-era Habanero titles. A standard Gamble round after each base win lets you risk the payout on a red-or-black guess.

The art reads more like a 1940s travel poster than the disaster scene the title suggests. A captain in full naval uniform grips the ship's wheel, a fighter plane circles overhead in another reel position, an ocean liner sits at port, a yellow life vest hangs nearby, and a brass compass and treasure map fill out the high-pays. Card royals get a metallic plate treatment in maritime brass. The grid is framed in a steel-cable border on a calm blue horizon, with green islands flanking the scene and the SOS banner stamped in dotted relief at the top. Honestly, the calm daylight tone undersells the urgency of the title. It's an early Habanero artifact that earns its place on history more than feature density, but that triple-prize wild still holds up.

This is an official Habanero partner release on Respinix.
