Paylines
9 paylines (player-selectable 1-9)
Reels Of Rock drops you backstage at a 70s arena gig before the lights even dim. Genii's older Saucify-era engine renders the 5×3 grid floating between two towers of Kalakem cabinet amps, ringed by yellow stage lights and metal scaffolding. There's a Jimi Hendrix lookalike strumming away on the top symbol, a wild-haired frontman screaming into a vintage mic, and a red-and-white VW tour bus rattling across the bottom row. The cartoon 3D logo screams bubblegum rock poster, and honestly the whole thing feels less like a slot and more like a Saturday morning rerun.
The math runs on 9 paylines, adjustable down to 1 if you want to nudge bet size around. Coins per line max at 5, and chip values climb through six tiers from $0.01 all the way up to a $1.00 stake. That last chip is unusual for the studio. Most Genii titles cap at $0.25 or $0.50, so high-rollers get a rare $45 max bet ceiling here. Default bet sits at $4.50, which feels slightly aggressive for an entry point, but you can dial down pretty easily.
Symbols pay left to right and the top six pay from just two-of-a-kind. That's generous. Two Hendrix figures land you 10 coins, two drummers grab 5, and so on down the line. The top combo of five Hendrix symbols pays 2,500 coins on a single line. Card-rank symbols don't exist here. It's fully themed art top to bottom, which is a nice touch.
Jimmy Plectrum, the animated guitar pick, plays Wild and subs for everything except the two scatters. He doesn't pay solo. Vicious Tim, the curly-haired rocker, is the Free Spins scatter. Land 3, 4, or 5 of him anywhere and you get 10, 20, or 40 free spins with all wins tripled. Retriggers are possible. The Tour Bus is the bonus scatter, but here's the catch: it must land on reels 1, 3, and 5 of an active payline, not just anywhere. That trigger condition is unusually strict. Hit it and the Reel Rockin' Tour pick-and-collect screen opens, with an explicit COLLECT button to bank your prize.
RTP is operator-configurable, which is the one real frustration. You won't know whether you're playing the 96% build or something stingier without asking. Volatility leans high given the 40-spin retrigger ceiling and 3x multiplier stack. It's a quirky throwback with real teeth.
