The grid itself is the headline trick. Base spins kick off at five reels and 243 ways. A sixth reel can unlock mid-spin to push the count to 729, and the full 6×6 expansion in the bonus opens 46,656 ways. Sitting under that engine is the xWays Mystery Symbol, a tile that lands holding two to four stacked copies of the same paying icon and expands its reel up to six high on reveal. In the base game it always opens to 4-high first. If the revealed icon happens to be one of the five Punk character symbols (Warhol-print Churchill, the mohawk pair, the Royal Guard, the Sid Vicious lookalike) the stack super-expands to 10, 15 or 20 symbols tall. Multiple xWays can land on the same spin too.

Molotov Wilds handle the vertical work. Wherever one lands, every position above it on that reel turns Wild for the resolution. They also gate the lighter feature: two Scatter Union Jacks anywhere on the reels trigger a Riot Respin where both Scatters convert into Molotov Wilds and lock their reels. The respin then chases more Molotov Wilds and a third Scatter to escalate into a proper free-spin tier.

Three Scatters award eight Anarchy Freespins. Four Scatters award eight Civil War Freespins. Same eight-spin counter, different enhancer pool. In both modes the Scatters become Jumping Wilds that hop between reels 2 to 6 every spin without ever covering all three positions on a single reel, and an Enhancer tile sits on top of each reel waiting for a Jumping Wild to land on it. The five Enhancers (Wild Multiplier on the Jumping Wild itself, a guaranteed 4-high xWays land, extra spins, an extra sticky Jumping Wild, and Full House where every reel expands to six high for the full 46,656 ways) only fire when a Jumping Wild actually hits that reel. Civil War draws from a stronger Enhancer pool, which is why the buy menu prices it 3% above Anarchy's 2% cost.

Visually it's straight-up Sex Pistols cosplay. The reels sit against a graffitied London brick wall with the Union Jack “NO LIMIT” badge slapped on the corner, Big Ben and a red phone box behind, and the symbols are screen-printed in the obvious Andy Warhol palette. Picture frames hang around the playfield like a gallery wall and there's an “OBEY ROAD NW8” Abbey Road parody pinned above. One honest gripe: the Enhancer pool difference between Anarchy and Civil War is never spelled out in the in-game paytable, which makes the 1% buy-cost gap feel arbitrary until you trigger both and notice. Otherwise this still holds up as one of NLC's denser early xWays builds.
