A white snowy owl in halo and purple robes leans on a gold staff at the left of the screen, and the reels float on a moss-covered branch with no grid lines between the symbols. The look is closer to a cluster-pays layout than a traditional 15-line cabinet, which is a strange choice for a Nolimit City title from April 2019. It works visually. The math sits underneath without ever drawing attention to itself.
The Scatter does almost everything here. It only appears on reels 2, 3 and 4, the centre one always nudges to fully visible, and on a base-game spin it triggers Scatter Loot. The payout is set by how many copies of a paying symbol sit on the board, except the middle Scatter counts as a +1 occurrence for every symbol on the paytable at the same time. Wilds push the count up to a 7-hit ceiling on one combination. It's an unusual economy because the Scatter is effectively a universal substitute for hit-counting without ever showing up on a payline.
Land three Scatters across reels 2, 3 and 4 and the round flips into one of three Dream Spins, picked at random. Five spins per variant, the centre reel locks to a stacked Wild matching the tribe colour, and any further Scatter that drops during the round adds an extra spin with no cap on the chain. Ember Dream turns Flame Shard and Flame Chest into Wilds every spin, which compounds with the stacked centre. Emerald Dream rewrites Emerald Shard and Emerald Book into the green Grove Owl, promoting a low-pay into a premium for the duration. Frozen Dream is the weirdest of the three. Frost Owl, Frost Shard and Frost Sword all morph into whichever of the three is currently most occurring on the spin, with ties going to the higher-paying symbol. So the variant's payout shape is decided by what lands first, then it aligns itself.
One honest gripe: the splash carousel does not actually advance past the Scatter Loot slide on the demo build I tested, so a first-timer never sees the three Dream Spins variants explained inside the game. You have to figure out which tribe just triggered from the colour of the stacked Wild. Minor flaw for a feature this central.
