Genii built Monte Carlo Heist around a simple fantasy: a tuxedoed crew sneaking past the marble columns of a Riviera casino while armored cars idle outside, stuffed with cash. The reels sit inside a grand stone facade, and the symbols lean hard into that mood. You'll see suited thieves in dark shades, a glamorous accomplice, getaway SUVs, vault doors, stacks of euro notes, and the usual royals dressed up to fit the heist.

Mechanically it's a 5×3 grid with 40 paylines, lines pay left to right, and the default chip is $0.05 with bets running from a penny up to $50 per spin. RTP sits at the Saucify house default of 96%, and volatility plays high. That's the part that's worth knowing upfront. The top line symbol caps at 1,000 coins for five of a kind, which is honestly modest. The big swings don't live on the paytable.

They live in two places. First, the Wild expands on every reel, which is rarer than it sounds. Most expanding-wild slots restrict the effect to a couple of middle reels, but here a Wild landing anywhere on reels one through five fills the whole column. That makes near-misses feel less near and more like genuine threats to your balance. No self-pay, no multiplier, just substitution and coverage.

Second, the Pick a Prize feature does something genuinely unusual. Three, four, or five Feature Scatters give you one, two, or three picks from a corresponding prize pool, and the payouts multiply your triggering bet. The twist? Pick a Prize can trigger during Free Spins too, stacking a bonus round on top of an already-running bonus round. Most pick-bonus slots disable themselves inside free spins. Monte Carlo Heist lets them compound.

Free Spins themselves are decent if a little plain. Three, four, or five FS Scatters award 9, 12, or 18 spins, retriggerable, with bet and lines locked. There's no multiplier attached, which is a missed trick. You'd expect at least a 2x on a high-variance Genii build, and its absence means the Pick a Prize stack is doing most of the heavy lifting during the round.

Visually it holds up better than a lot of Genii's older Saucify catalog. The reel frame, the chrome highlights, the small details on the character symbols all feel deliberate rather than stock. If you like classy heist themes and you don't mind a top line pay that's more polite than impressive, this one rewards patience. Just don't expect to walk out rich without catching the Pick a Prize at least once.
