Money Train 4 closes the book. Relax Gaming dropped this one in September 2023 as the fourth and final chapter, and yes, “final” actually means final this time. After three Western-flavored entries, the studio threw the saloon out the window and reskinned everything as a post-apocalyptic alien wasteland. The train still rides, but now it's bristling with steampunk cannons and mechanical skull ornaments bolted to the frame. Cowboy, cowgirl with the red braid, Native American, old prospector, all still here as high-pays. Card suits got the gem treatment for lows. It's western-meets-robotic, and honestly the art team nailed the send-off vibe.
The math got the same upgrade treatment. Max win sits at 150,000x, which beats MT1 (20k), MT2 (50k), and MT3 (100k). Highest cap in the entire series, fitting for a finale. Volatility is the expected 5/5, RTP runs 96.10% base or 96.50% if you tap the Buy Feature. Hit frequency is 20.14%, bet range 0.20 to 100 EUR.
Now, about that base game. It's flat. Genuinely flat. Around 80% of spins give you nothing, there are no wilds, and you're basically waiting for either the Respin trigger or three Bonus skulls to drop. The Respin is a nice consolation – the most-present symbol turns sticky, a respin fires, multipliers add together (they don't stick) and slap onto your final tally. Helpful, but not why you're here.
The Money Cart Bonus is why you're here. 6×4 grid, 3 spins, counter resets to 3 every new symbol that lands. Fill a row, unlock another, up to four unlocks for a final 6×8 board. And then there's the modifier list. 21 modifiers, most of any Money Train ever. Standard Collectors, Payers, Snipers, plus Arms Dealer (converts basic symbols into feature ones), Necromancer (revives dead modifiers), Shapeshifter, Unlocker, Reset Plus, Upgrader. The Persistent versions are where the math actually lives – they survive every spin, and stacking a couple Persistent Collectors with a Persistent Payer is what cooks 5-figure multipliers.
Two buys: 100x for the standard trigger, 500x for the Persistent buy that guarantees one Persistent symbol from the jump. The 500x ask is steep, no sugarcoating it, and you can absolutely brick a Persistent buy if the right combinations don't show. But when it clicks, MT4 hits harder than anything else in the lineup. Worthy farewell.
