Habanero went off-script with this one. The whole math model rejects the standard slot blueprint: there's no scatter, no free spins round, no buy feature, no ante. What's left is a single mechanic that has to carry everything, and against expectations, it actually does.

You start on a tiny 3×3 grid, which pays 27 ways. That's a small playing field, almost claustrophobic compared to the 5×4 sprawl most modern slots default to. Then a glowing purple Jellyfish drops. That's the Wild, and every time one lands, the grid stretches by a row or a column. So 3×3 becomes 4×4 (256 ways), then 5×5 (3,125), then 6×6 (46,656), and at the ceiling, 7×7 unlocks 823,543 ways. The grid holds its expanded size as long as at least one Jellyfish Wild stays on screen. Lose them all and you collapse back to 3×3 to start the climb again.

The audio tracks the geometry. There are four music layers in the engine, and each one swaps in at a higher grid tier. A flat 3×3 sounds sparse and aquatic, mostly whale-song with bubble effects. By the time you're at 7×7 the orchestra is full, layered with deeper choral pads. It's a smart bit of game-feel: you can tell what size grid you're sitting on without even glancing at the screen.

Visually it's all serene deep-sea. The reel cells float like glass panels on a violet-magenta gradient, with coral and seaweed swaying along the bottom edge, distant whale silhouettes drifting in the haze. Symbols include the purple Jellyfish Wild, an orange octopus, a blue translucent jellyfish, a pink spiral nautilus shell with red tendrils. There's a Grand Jackpot counter in cursive rose script ticking up top, fed by a network progressive. The wordmark uses a curling pink-and-blue serif with seaweed garnish, which is exactly as on-brand as it sounds.

The 32,416x cap sits high enough to justify the high-volatility grind, but be honest about what the session looks like. You'll spend a lot of base spins waiting for Jellyfish to stick, and a lot of medium spins watching the grid collapse just before something big lined up.
