Yggdrasil rolled out FruitPunk in August 2025, and it's basically what happens when a classic fruit machine moves to South Beach and starts hanging out with a flamingo. The cabinet glows hot pink against a synthwave palm-tree skyline at dusk, watermelons and lemons sit on a 7×7 grid, and a cocktail-sipping flamingo mascot watches you spin. It's loud, it's pixel-pretty, and it leans hard into the Miami Vice aesthetic without being subtle about it.

Mechanically, this one will feel familiar if you've touched Sugar Rush. Cluster pays trigger when 5 or more matching symbols connect horizontally or vertically. Wins explode, the grid avalanches, and new symbols drop in. The clever part is the sticky position multiplier ladder. Every cell where a symbol explodes gets marked. If another winning cluster pops in the same spot, that cell climbs the rungs: x2, x4, x8, x16, x32, x64, and finally x128. Multipliers from a single cluster get summed before being applied, so an x32 plus an x64 in one win means a x96 boost on that cluster's payout.

In the base game those marks reset every spin, which honestly feels stingy. The real meat lives inside Free Spins. Land 3 Scatters for 10 spins, 4 for 12, 5 for 15, 6 for 20, or all 7 Scatters for 30 spins. Inside the bonus, every position mark and every multiplier sticks for the whole round and keeps stacking. That's where the advertised 7,000x max win actually becomes reachable, and it pushes higher than Sugar Rush's 5,000x ceiling.

If you don't fancy waiting, the Buy Bonus costs 34x your stake and drops you straight into Free Spins with a randomly chosen Scatter count from 3 to 7. Bets run from $0.20 to $70, volatility is high, and the RTP sits at 94%. And yes, that's the catch – 94% is below Yggdrasil's usual 96% standard, which is one trade-off worth flagging before you commit. Is the punchier max win worth the lower return? For volatility chasers, probably. For grinders, maybe not.

Visually it's one of the better fruit-machine reskins of the year. The pixel-art symbols, the neon wordmark, the flamingo, the dusk skyline – it all hangs together. You're not breaking new mechanical ground here, but the Miami coat of paint and that x128 ladder make it a fun stop.
