Blueprint Gaming dropped Fishin' Frenzy Win Stepper Rapid Fire Jackpots in April 2025, and it's a strange little hybrid. The fisherman, the cash-grabbing fish, the underwater blues, all the Reel Time Gaming furniture is here. But the grid has shrunk to a tight 3×3 layout with 5 fixed paylines, and the whole thing now sits underneath a five-tier progressive jackpot panel. Mini, Minor, Major, Master, Mega King. Familiar nomenclature if you've played any Blueprint Rapid Fire title in the last two years.
The signature mechanic is the Win Stepper. It fires randomly whenever a Cash Prize lands on reel 1 or reel 3 alongside the Cash Collect fisherman on reel 2. Those prize values get scooped up, then reels 1 and 3 step down a position, exposing new symbols. If more Cash Prizes drop into view, they're collected too, and the reels keep stepping until the well runs dry. It's a satisfying loop when it kicks off, though admittedly the trigger feels stingy in standard play. That's where Power Play earns its keep: pay 5x your stake and the Win Stepper is guaranteed whenever the collector pattern lands. No royals, no fruit, just cash math.
The Bonus is the classic Fishin' Frenzy reset round. Three spins, every fresh Cash Prize dumps into the held Collect symbol and refills the counter back to three. Extra Cash Collects can land too, up to three on the screen, each one resetting the timer. The Frenzy feature adds catches to a net above the reels and occasionally rains them down to force a bonus trigger out of nowhere.
And then there's the Rapid Fire wheel. Five matching overlay symbols anywhere in view triggers the jackpot bonus, where you're spinning for instant cash multipliers between 5x and 1,000x your stake, or one of the five progressive pots. The 94.99% RTP is split: roughly 94% base, plus a 0.99% pot contribution feeding the jackpot pool. Volatility sits medium-high, and the max win is capped at 10,000x stake.
One gripe. The 3×3 grid feels cramped after years of 5-reel Fishin' Frenzy releases, and base spins between features can run dry quickly. But the jackpot overlay genuinely changes how you sit with the game. Worth a few spins.
