10 Fixed Paylines
Blueprint Gaming dropped Fishin' Frenzy The Big Catch 3 in July 2025, and it's a curious sequel. The grid is the familiar 5×3 with 10 fixed paylines, the RTP sits at 95.00%, and the volatility is high. So far, so Big Catch. But look at the top end and you'll notice something odd. The max win lands at 10,000x stake, which is a fifth of what Big Catch 2 offered. Blueprint clearly decided the previous 50,000x ceiling was a bit ambitious, so this entry rebuilds the appeal around a Pick Bonus and a layer of jackpot pots instead.
Those pots sit above the reels as Mini, Minor, Major, and Mega tags worth 20, 50, 200, and 1,000 times the line bet. They're tied to the gold fish collection mechanic. Any Gold Fisherman during the bonus sweeps the values shown on Fish symbols, including those jackpot tags when they land. It's the same cash-collect DNA from earlier Fishin' Frenzy slots, just dressed up with bigger numbers on a handful of premium fish.
And then there's the Pick Bonus, the actual new toy. Before the free games round kicks off, you're handed a board and you keep selecting until you reveal Start Free Games or stack five upgrades. The options range from extra Fishermen to more Worms, a respin that loops until no more cash drops, a trail boost, and the chunky +Super upgrade that turns Golden Fishermen into 5x collectors. It's genuinely the most interesting layer the franchise has added in a while, because you have real agency over how the bonus plays.
Triggering takes three or more boat scatters for 10, 15, or 20 free games. Power Play stays put as the 5x stake side mode for impatient players. The Fishin' Frenzy net-pick modifier in the base game still fires Cash Collect, Cash Streak, Extra Fish, and Fisherman Add events. So mechanically there's a lot going on for a slot wearing such cheerful boat artwork.
The criticism writes itself, honestly. Dropping from 50,000x to 10,000x is a hard sell to anyone who chased Big Catch 2 specifically for that ceiling. But if you've been wanting more variety inside the bonus rather than just bigger numbers above it, the Pick layer plus jackpot pots gives the third Big Catch its own identity.
