Fishin' Frenzy The Big Catch 2 is Blueprint Gaming's February 2025 follow-up to The Big Catch, and the big news lives right at the top of the paytable. The cap is now 50,000x stake. That's a serious jump from the original and pretty much unheard of for a series built on lake-side, slightly-cartoonish bass fishing. The grid stays familiar: 5×3 reels, ten fixed paylines, an ante-bet button if you want to pay extra for quicker boat triggers, and the same blue water and gulls drifting above the frame.

The math sits at 95.00% RTP with medium-high volatility, which feels about right. Base play is patient. Royals fill out a lot of the early spins, the pelican and tackle-box symbols handle mid-tier pays, and the boat scatter is what you're actually watching for. Land three, four, or five boats and you bank 10, 15, or 20 free games respectively.

And that's where the sequel earns its name. Free games run the classic Cash Collect loop: every Fisherman wild that lands sweeps the value of every Fish tag on screen. Fish carry stamped values from 20x up to 500x line stake, and Power Play mode strips the reels down so only Fish, Fishermen, and bonus symbols can land. Collect four Fishermen during a free-games session and the lowest-paying Fish size upgrades to the next tier, plus you get extra free games tacked on. Stack that upgrade a couple of times and the math suddenly looks very different.

The real twist this time is the Worm symbol. Any Worms visible on the reels quietly accumulate every Fish value before a Fisherman collects, so a single late-bonus catch can land at multiples of what it would have paid on its own. It's the cleanest mechanic Blueprint has added to the franchise in years.

One honest gripe: the base game can feel slow if you're not playing the ante-bet, since the whole engine is tuned around getting into Power Play. But once you're in the bonus, the upgrade loop, the Worm stacks, and that 50,000x ceiling hanging overhead make this the most ambitious Fishin' Frenzy entry Reel Time Gaming and Blueprint have shipped.
