Gameplay Screenshots

The reels live inside a carved stone temple, framed by towering rust-red pillars wrapped in dragon motifs, with cascading waterfalls and misty volcanic peaks fading into the background. A small Jackpot Race counter ticks away above the grid, a leftover from a generation of Habanero releases that still leaned on a single random progressive tier. The mood is contemplative, not flashy. This is a 2016 release and the pacing reflects that.

Twenty-eight fixed paylines sit on a standard 5×3 layout, with the Phoenix and the Dragon functioning as separate high-pay symbols during the base game. They pay on their own lines and that's it. Nothing dramatic happens until the Scatter, a golden bird emblem, lands three or more times anywhere on the screen and triggers the Free Spins round. That's where the slot earns its name.

Once the bonus starts, the Dragon and the Phoenix lock onto the grid as roaming symbols. Each spin shuffles them sideways. The Dragon drifts in from the left, the Phoenix drifts in from the right, and they spend most of the round circling without ever meeting. When they finally land in the same column, they fuse into the Fenghuang Combined Wild, a solid 2-reel by 3-row block that takes up six positions and substitutes for every payline running through it. On a fifteen-cell grid, that's almost half the board covered by Wild.

The hit math leans on that geometry. Lines crossing the merged Wild can chain into multiple payline wins on a single spin, which is where the low-volatility, hit-often profile actually shows up. The trade-off is patience. Most Free Spin rounds are about waiting for the two roamers to align rather than collecting big paid spins along the way. And the Scatter does not trigger often enough to make this feel like a high-frequency bonus chase.

Symbols are weather-worn card royals etched into stone slabs and overgrown with moss, plus volcano, waterfall, mountain-rock, and mythical-beast images for the mid-pays. No Buy Feature. No Super Bet. The base bet defaults to 14.00 across 28 lines. It's an older build, and that shows in the quieter UI, but the Walking Wilds idea was sharp for its time and still reads cleanly today.
