Scatter Pays (count-based, anywhere on grid)
YGR ended up reusing this base engine a couple of GameIds later for a Christmas reskin with donut multipliers, but Cleopatra came first. So it's the prototype for a small family of cluster-pay titles in the catalogue. The core mechanic doesn't lean on paylines at all. Symbols pay by raw count anywhere on the 6-reel, 5-row board – eight or more matching tiles anywhere on the 30 cells trigger a hit, the winning symbols vanish, and the grid tumbles fresh tiles into the gaps. Direction doesn't matter. Just the headcount.
Horus Falcon anchors the top of the paytable. Below that, gold and green pentagon gems, an orange ankh, blue scarabs, and the lower-tier square jewels fill out the rest of the symbol set. There's no Wild on the reels at all – the only special tile is the Gem Multiplier, a golden pentagon stamped with a value running anywhere from 2x to 500x. The Gem drops in randomly each spin. If it lands inside a winning combo, its multiplier applies to the round's payout. Land outside a win, it does nothing. Simple rule, big swings.
Free Games are the headline. Four scatters anywhere on the grid trigger 15 spins immediately – and four is a deliberately soft trigger threshold compared to most cluster slots that demand five or six. Inside the round, Gems behave differently. Every multiplier value that participates in a win gets summed into a persistent Total Multiplier medallion mounted to the left of the reels. That medallion does not reset between spins. It accumulates across the entire round, building from zero across spin after spin. Three more scatters during the feature adds five spins. Every Gem value that lands in a win keeps stacking onto the running total until the session ends. The 5,000x ceiling lives on a tail scenario where a single 500x Gem lands on a final free spin after the medallion has already climbed to 200x or 300x. That's the math.
Buy Bonus on the left rail skips the scatter hunt at 62x total bet. Slightly pricier than typical for the feature content you're buying, honestly, but the persistent multiplier system is the whole draw and 15 free spins is a longer runway than most modern cluster titles hand over. Cleopatra herself stands to the right of the reels in nemes headdress and ceremonial gold-and-white robes, sandstone temple walls receding behind the grid. Bet range runs 0.20 to 50.00. Mechanically closer to the modern tumble-and-multiplier crowd than the classic payline Egyptian slots it shares thematic shelf space with.
