If you've spun any Cash Falls title before, the skeleton of Cash Falls Pirate's Trove will feel instantly familiar. Light & Wonder dropped this one in September 2022 as a Caribbean reskin of an engine they've already wheeled out for Outback Fortune, Island Bounty, Huo Zhu and China Street. So yes, it's cosmetic. The bones are identical. What's interesting is how the geometry of those bones quietly punishes anyone who doesn't read the jackpot ladder closely.

The grid is a stepped pyramid: 4 rows, 4 rows, 6, 6, then a tall 8-row column on reel 5. Pays land on Any Way across adjacent reels, RTP is the standard 96.00%, volatility is high, and the bet ladder runs $0.20 to $3.20. Default opens around $1.40. There's no buy bonus, no ante, no gamble button. The treasure chest grafted onto the bottom-right of the cabinet is the spin anchor, palm fronds droop from the top, and a silhouetted galleon sits offshore in moonlit teal. It's lovely without trying too hard.

Now the part that matters. Gray Coins land in stacks of 1, 2 or 3 (one stack per reel per spin) and lock the reel for the next three wagers. New coins can pile onto reels that are already held. Every coin carries either a bet multiplier or a jackpot label, and which label can appear is dictated entirely by the column. Reels 1 and 2 cap at the MINI tier ($28). Reels 3 and 4 cap at MINOR ($70). The MAJOR ($700) and MEGA ($14,000) only land on reel 5. That's your entire shot at the 14,000x ceiling, sitting in one column. The Wild only fills reels 2, 3 and 4, and anything hiding behind a held coin gets ignored.
