Action Bank Plus takes the Barcrest pub-cabinet DNA and bolts it onto a 6-reel Scientific Games chassis from 2019. The result looks like nothing else on Light & Wonder's roster. Brushed chrome plating, riveted edges, a red 7 on cobalt blue, a stark X on red, BAR in serif on white, and that quietly menacing O on black. It's industrial, almost stubbornly old-school, and that's the whole point.

The layout is the weird bit. You get a standard 4-row block across reels 1-5, then a sixth column that's actually four separate mini-reels stacked vertically, each spinning one symbol at a time. That gives you a 6×4 footprint, 4,096 ways to win, and a far-right column that behaves more like four little vault doors than a normal reel. Bets run from $0.10 up to $200, RTP sits at 96.04%, and the math leans medium-high volatility. Max win is 25,000x the stake.

Base game pays are blunt. Six red 7s across the board returns 200x, six BARs gets you 50x, six X's gives 20x. No wilds at all in the base. The O symbol? Pays nothing on its own. So why does it exist? Because it's the only way into the bonus.

And here's where it gets stingy. To trigger the Vault Feature, all four positions in the split sixth column have to land O at the exact same moment. Easy to describe, brutal to wait for. When it finally happens, you pick one of four steel vaults. Inside is a hidden free spins count, either 4, 8, 12 or 16. Honest opinion? Drawing the 4-spin vault after grinding that trigger stings a little.

There's a kicker, though. Every O sitting on reels 1-5 during the trigger spin adds an extra free spin, capped at +20. So a screen littered with O's can stretch a humble 8-spin pick into something serious.

Free spins flip the math. Wilds finally show up on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 (never reel 1, never the split column), and reel 1 starts dropping Double Seven, Double BAR and Double X symbols that count as two of themselves for ways calculations. The Vault re-triggers using the same all-O method, stacking more spins on top. It's a quiet, mechanical kind of bonus. No animation fireworks, just numbers ticking up behind a steel door.
