How the CollectR mechanic works
Instead of paylines, the game uses four colored parrot symbols that move horizontally and vertically across the grid, collecting matching colored gem symbols along the way. The parrots continue moving and collecting gems of the same color until there are no more adjacent matches.
The collected gem symbols can be upgraded to higher payout levels, up to a maximum of 7 levels or 30x the bet in Pirots 3.
If there are no more winning clusters available but a win is still possible, two adjacent parrot symbols can perform a “Switcheroo” by trading places, enabling additional gem collections.
The original Pirots slot introduced the CollectR mechanic, while Pirots 2 expanded on it by increasing the grid size to 6×6 and adding new features like the Popcorn Trail.
