Katmandu Gold by ELK Studios immerses players in a thrilling Himalayan adventure. Katmandu Gold utilizes a 6-reel, expanding-row format. The base game starts with 4 rows, but winning combinations trigger Avalanches (Cascading Wins). Winning symbols disappear, allowing new symbols to fall into place and potentially create consecutive wins. Up to 8 additional rows can be unlocked through Avalanches, significantly increasing the number of potential winning combinations (up to a maximum of 531,441).

The slot uses a standard pay-anywhere mechanic, where winning combinations are formed by landing matching symbols from left to right on adjacent reels.

Bonus Features:

• Avalanches (Cascading Wins): As explained above, winning symbols disappear and new symbols fall into place, creating opportunities for consecutive wins. Up to 8 additional rows can be unlocked, increasing win ways.
• Big Symbols: Giant symbols (2×2, 3×3, or 4×4) can land on the reels, covering multiple positions and potentially leading to larger wins.
• Ice Climbers: When two Ice Climber symbols (resembling the Yin & Yang symbol) land simultaneously, they trigger this feature.
